Alexandra Richards trained as a Speech and Language Therapist at the University of Essex and received a Master of Science in Speech and Language in 2016. Prior to this she received a BA in English Language from the University of Gloucestershire and is also a qualified early years teacher.
Since qualifying, Alexandra worked for the NHS in the South West of England and has gone on to pursue her passion training to become an Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner. She is one of less than 50 dual qualified practitioners in the UK with both speech and language and sensory integration qualifications.
Alexandra has experience working with a wide variety of communication disorders from speech and articulation delays and disorders, dyspraxia and language difficulties. She also works with children who present with communication difficulties associated with cerebral palsy, autistic spectrum disorders, developmental delay and learning difficulties.
